Assessment, testing and evaluation

When we come to talk about assessment and evaluation or testing, are different ways to approach it, in negative or a positive way. Sometimes there are discussions if assessments are needed in a learning process or not.

It is necessary that as teachers we need to know where we want to get with our students in order to have a process, a plan and key indicators of progress to accomplish it. Otherwise this would be subjective.

Assessment allows us to verify advances and give us a description of what we can do to improve in our teaching and learning skills. No all the time testing and evaluating can be exact of what is happening with students.  We need to be aware not only of the results we also need to be aware of their process.
